Gerald A. Williams Memorial (by his friends)

Gerald Williams graduated from Lawrence Technological University and spent most of his career as an engineer with General Motors where he was instrumental in vehicle exports. When not at the GM Tech Center, he traveled the world collaborating and educating countries like Saudi Arabia, Japan and Australia. Some of his greatest accomplishments in his career were assisting in designing the first “pope-mobile”, the first child car seat for General Motors and he implemented a more efficient part number control system.

As an engineer, he understood the need for secondary education and vocational training, and how they complimented each other. He always supported young people and tried to provide them with the tools, knowledge and experience to succeed. His family would like to carry that forward.
