Vince & Melody DeLeonardis
Vincent DeLeonardis & Melody McGill DeLeonardis support students at OCC through an endowed scholarship named for their mothers, Virginia McGill and Faye DeLeonardis, both nurses.
Vince was born in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State. Following graduation he moved to Colorado to join a company that mined Molybdenum. When the mine closed, he came to Michigan to work the Midland nuclear power plant, and ultimately joined the Auch Construction Company. He currently serves on the Board of the OCC Foundation as Vice Chair.
Melody is a native Michigander. She met Vince when enrolled in a Master’s program at Central Michigan University. She was a nurse, and has since studied theology and ethics at Sacred Heart Seminary. She has served on the medical ethics panels at St. Joseph hopitals in Oakland and Ann Arbor.
