Rosie & Samuel Geeter memorial (by family and friends)

The family and friends of the Geeter family established scholarships honoring the Rosie & Samuel “Sam” Geeter, as well as Dora Geeter. * Rosie and Samuel “Sam” Geeter *were the proud parents of 17 children. They met and married in their home state of Mississippi prior to relocating to Michigan, where Rosie was a stay-at-home mom and Sam worked for General Motors for many years. While they both barely had a formal high school education, they knew the importance of a good education and instilled this love of learning in all of their children. *Dora Geeter * was the third eldest child of Rosie and Sam who had a passion for baking. It is the hope of the donors that students will be able to pursue their educational goals void of financial barriers.
