Michigan Women Psychologists

The Michigan Women Psychologists (MWP) Organization existed for 25 years and primarily focused on issues pertaining to women. MWP provided mentoring, research experiences, and networking opportunities revolving around social and academic issues that were of concern to women.

The Michigan Women Psychologists Endowed Scholarship was established to financially assist Oakland Community College-Highland Lakes students. Part of the mission of Michigan Women Psychologists has always been to provide accessibility to educational opportunities. The intent of this organization is to help ameliorate the barriers associated with financial need. Community College is often the entrance into better employment or further education.

It is with sincere hope that the vision and legacy of Michigan Women Psychologists will continue through this endowed scholarship.
