Kelly Flores (by her family and friends)

Kelly Flores, Sign Language Interpreter Program Coordinator and American Sign Language Faculty, passed away on July 29, 2024.

Kelly worked at OCC for 20 years. She is known as a passionate educator who loved her students and as an extraordinary friend and advocate of the Deaf Community. She was deeply committed to advancing the quality of sign language interpreter education and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Donations in Kelly’s memory support a Sign Language Interpreter scholarship at OCC established in her name by her friends and family.
