David & Michelle Powell

The Powell’s established two annual scholarships to honor their passions of Computer Information and Performing Arts.

Mr. Powell is an OCC CIS graduate, and recipient of OCC scholarships. He now has a career in CIS, and feels that now it is his turn to pay it forward.

Michelle and David also wanted to give back to their community because Michelle has always been passionate about the performing arts. She believes that they are needed in today’s society to help people escape into a different world, connect emotionally with characters, and let go of everyday stressors. She is a Churchill High School CAPA theater graduate of 1997, OCC ABA graduate of 1999 and afterwards moved on to Walsh to graduate with a BBA in Marketing.
